I'm Håkon Grønning and live in Trondheim, Norway. My favourite interest is photography. Most of my photographs are of people or landscapes. Some of them are displayed on these pages.

The main part of the people photographs are related to children. Over the past few years I have made a little secondary income from my pictures by offering them to publishers for printing. Some of my best pictures of children are stored at BarnBildByrån / Scandinavian Kids (see page 5), a picture stock agency in Sweden. Most of the pictures on these pages are scanned from my published pictures in magazines or books.

Mostly I use colour slide film which is preferred for reproduction in printed publications. However, I also do love to work in black and white. In spite of all the modern computerized desktop tools for image processing it can't beat the magic of printing your own photographs in the darkroom. The black and white photographs on these pages are scanned directly from my original handmade prints.

I use 135 film and camera equipment for the most, more seldom my 120 roll film (6x4.5cm) equipment.
